1. What this Statement Covers

This Privacy Policy statement sets out how Laman Online Company ("Carllei", "we", "us" or "our") will treat the personal data that we collect when you apply to join as a member of our Carllei branded websites; sign up for a customer account; in relation to your membership as part of our Carllei branded websites ("Membership"); to administer and maintain your customer account; when you subscribe our newsletter to receive information from us; when you visit our websites or social media pages; when you send us enquiries or complaints and/or when you request or purchase our products or services. Where Carllei’s operations are subject to privacy legislation other than that of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Hong Kong”), then this Statement shall be applied in so far as is practicable and consistent with such local legislation.

If you do not provide any personal data to us that we have indicated as being mandatory, then we may not be able to (as applicable): (i) process or complete your application for Membership; (ii) open, administer and/or maintain your customer account; (iii) provide you with any membership benefits or rewards in relation to your Membership; (iv) provide you with any services or products you have requested from us; (v) respond to any of your queries or process or handle any of your complaints; or (vi) provide you with any information or materials requested by you.   

  4. If you provide us with the personal data of another individual, then you warrant and undertake that you have obtained the consent of the relevant individual to provide their personal data to us, for us to collect, use, disclose and/or transfer their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


3. Purpose of Collection, Use, Disclosure and Transfer​

Carllei is hosted on the platform. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
